My Worst Childhood

Family should be a place where you can feel happy, safety and also comfortable. But not in my family. In this family, I couldn't feel those all. There was no happiness, safety and i couldn't feel comfort. It because of my parents. I didn't understand why it happened. They always argued about something that I didn't know. That was why they quite didn't care about me and made me have a worst childhood.

The story started when I was child. As a 5 years old child, I really liked to play. I used to play with my aunt because I didn't have any brother yet and my parents were going to work. I was happy when I was with her, because she really loves me and I love her too. She always accompanied me when I played with my favorite toy and till the time that I have to sleep, she also always accompanied me.

Next day, I just woke up from my sleep. I woke up because I heard a noisy sound from the outside of my room. A very crowded situation was happened there. So that I cried and called my mother. I cried for a long time till my aunt came and picked me up. When she brought me out, I saw my parents argued each other. I was scared. I cried and I called them but they ignored me. I was so sad at that time.

Since that moment, there was no more happiness in my family. Until I was 8 years old. As an 8 years old child that really need the parents' attentions, I was so depressed because I always saw my parents argued each other. I just could cry because of that. I never felt safety when they argued. They ignored me when I tried to make them in peace. I felt alone and sad because of that.

One day, my mother got sick. And I thought maybe it because of her always argued with my father. My aunt and I always take care of her because my father was rarely stayed at home. My mother cried. She cried may be because she disappointed with my father. I was so angry at my father at that time.

When my mother's condition was getting worse at that time, I was so worry because my father was not came home yet. I was so angry and also worried. I couldn't handle myself and I took my bicycle and searched for my father around the village. I paddle my bicycle as fast as I could with the eyes full with tears. Finally I found him at a "warung" quite far from my house. I told him about mother's condition then he came home with me and took care of my mother. He looked so worry about my mother.

Since that moment, my family was getting better than before. My father realized that he was not a good father and then he started to try to make our family as good as he could again. They never argue again and they also starter to care about me. And since that moment, I realized that even though they argued each other, they still love each other. But those moments and memories, still made I had a worst childhood.

Writing III, Narrative Text : "Teenager Love"

Teenager Love

That was an ordinary day in my school. As usual, I did my routines as a high school student such as study and go to the canteen with my friends when the bell ringed. That was really common routines that I did. I didn't expect something special would come, but in fact there was something really special happened at that day. That was the day when I met my first love.

The story started when the first class at that day ended. My friends and I went to the school's canteen to have our breakfast. As usual, we laughed together when one of my friends told us a joke. The situation was so crowded at that time, but we didn't care and just continued our conversation. I didn't really care about the situation around me even though someone called my name. But suddenly I was speechless when someone touched my shoulder and saw a pretty girl asked for my help to take a bottle of soda from the refrigerator. I was really speechless at that time because I was so amazed with her and because of that too I forgot to ask her name when she went away. I was so curious with her because that was the first time i saw her in my school. So started from that, I wanted to know more about her.

Next day after school. I went to the parking lot. I was thinking about the girl that i met the day before and fortunately I met her again at the parking lot when she tried to take her motorcycle. That was really awkward. I wanted to greet her but I was really nervous. I thought that I won't lose this chance, so i tried to braced myself and greet her first. With a pretty smile she greeted me back then I asked her name. Her name is Julia and she is from Gianyar. After introducing ourselves to each other, then I had a quite long conversation with her. That was really awkward because our conversation was so clumsy. I tried to ask her phone number and then I also gave her mine. Since that moment, I had a good relationship with her.

For several days, We always communicated with each other, and day by day I felt  we had become closer than before even though we only communicated by phone. Next day at school, I met her again for the third time. I met her in front of my classroom and I tried to greet her nicely. After that, she smiled to me then she came closer to me. We had a very excited conversation. We talked about everything and there was no more clumsiness between us. I was so happy at that time.

After that moment, we were getting closer and closer. I knew a lot about her and she also knew me well. We often went together and spent our free time together. And we were no longer as a friend, but more than that. 

Writing III, Descriptive Text : "Best Friend"

Best Friend

Friends are some people that you have in your society. It can be in your school, your campus, or in your village or home. There are some kinds of friends such as an ordinary friend, close friend, and also best friend. Best Friend is a person that has a really close relationship with you, a person that you can share your story and he/she can be like your brother/sister and for me, I also have a friend that has a good relationship with me. His name is Wahyu Widiyatmika and all friends in the class usually call him "Chiko". He is a good person and we have some similarities.

Chiko is my classmate in English Education Department. He is from Kintamani and here he lives at Banyuning. He lives there with his brother and they look so friendly. He is quite tall with a short curly black hair and also he's quite fat. He is very fashionable. It looked from his fashion when he come to campus. He always wear different clothes every day with a good style.

We have some similar hobbies such as playing guitar, game and so on. I learnt to play guitar from him. He is very expert in guitar so that's why I asked him to teach me. May be because of our similar hobbies, we could be a good friend.

He is a good person. He often to help me if I got a problem. Just like when I ate my lunch at the canteen and I forgot to bring my money, he lend me his money to pay my lunch. Besides that, sometime he could be an annoying person when he told me and the other friends about his joke that didn't really funny. But even though his jokes were not funny, he could make me and the other friends laughed. Maybe that is his uniqueness.

In short, as my friend, he is a very good person. He is also funny and humorist. Our similarities could make us as a good friend. He could make everyone around him feel happy and laughing and for me I'm happy to be his friend. 

Writing III, Descriptive Text : "Mother"

Mother

Everyone has someone that's very important in their live. That can be your parents, brothers, sisters, or even a friend. For me, I have a beloved person in my life. She always guards me, always takes care of me and also always loves me. Her name is Ni Nyoman Sunanti and she is my mother. She is beautiful, she has a black hair, and she is tall and quite fat. She is a very good mother and very creative.

My mother is very responsible person. She takes all the house works such as cooking, cleaning the house, and so on. When she does her responsibility as a housewife, she always does it perfectly, because she is a very perfectionist person. She is also a discipline person. It can be looked when she taught her sons how to be a good person.

She has some hobbies such as make a handicraft. Sometime, when she has free time, she usually makes some handicraft such as wallet, handbag, and etc. that made from palm leaves or usually called "lontar". She is not just makes the handicraft but she also sell it to earn money. Her hobby is very useful for herself and for our family.

As a woman, she is very gentle. She always gives her love and her time to her family. That’s very precious for me. Friendly is one of her personalities. It can be seen when my friends came to my house a few days ago and she greeted them all nicely. She is very nice person. And I proud of her.

In short, as a beloved person, she is a very good mother. She is very discipline and a responsible person. She is creative enough as a mother. Just like what she always did if she has a free time. She is very nice person and I will always love her.

Hot Potatoes (JQuiz, JMix, JMatch, JCross, JCloze), Short tutorial about How to Use J-Mix and, How to Publish/Upload your Hot Potatoes File.

Well hello everyone, My name is I Putu Adhi Wirayasa,  Well now I would like to tell you about one software known as "Hot Potatoes". Hot Potatoes is an application that can be used to make a Quiz. there are 5 feature in Hot Potatoes, there are: JQuiz, JMix, JMatch, JCross, and JCloze. Every feature of Hot Potatoes have different function. JQuiz is used to make a Multiple Choice quiz, JMix is used to make a Jumble Word quiz, JMatch is used to make a Matching Quiz, JCross is used to make a CrossWord Quiz and the last JCloze is used to make a Gap-fill quiz. This application is very interesting and also very useful in order to make some quiz. So here I would like to present you a video of one feature of Hot Potatoes. How to use JMix.

How to use Lectora Inspire

Well hello everyone. my name is I Putu Adhi Wirayasa. Here I want to present a tutorial video about a software known as Lectora Inspire. before watch the video, first of all I want to introduce you what Lectora Inspire is. Lectora Inspire is an application or a software that can be use to make a presentation. It's quite similar with Microsoft Powerpoint but It has more feature. we also can make a Quiz just like in Hot Potatoes by using this application.

[Final Assignment] Writing paragraph assignment [The qualities of good employees.]

An employer looks for employees with certain qualities. The first requirement is he or she must have a good skill in IT. Because if they have good skill in IT, the works that must be use a computer could be finished. Besides that there will be efficiency of time when do the work, because with computer the works will be easier to be done, especially to make company’s documents. The second requirement is he or she must have good public speaking skill. This skill is very important to make the employees able to promote their selves or their company in the global world and also they can satisfy the costumers with a good service. The third requirement is he or she could be work together or in group. Because if they can work together of course that can make the works easier or faster to be done. Besides that they can build a good relationship between employees. And also the goal of the company will be easier to be reached. In short, with those requirements the employees will be good employees and will be very useful for company.

Daily activities at FBS’s lobby

The FBS’s lobby is always full of activities which make it very crowded. It’s so crowded because of the students’ activities and the administrative business of the campus itself. Besides that many students use the Lobby as the place to do their assignments. They use the Lobby’s Wi-Fi connections to find entertainments or to do their assignments. It’s common to see the students playing games or watching movies every day at the lobby and they’re also laughs and yells loudly to the extent that they disturb the other people. Many students formed groups while recharging their gadgets or when they doing their assignments but they pay no attention about their surroundings so the wires are everywhere. Students who doing their assignments prefers to sit on the floor it’s because of limited number of seats available. And while they do their assignment usually they also have snacks and they don’t throw away their rubbish in the rubbish bin. They just throw their rubbish or leaving many things behind, so it makes the Dean, the lecturers and the staff angry. Because of the limited number of seats, some people just sitting on the floor and it disturb the other people who want to pass by. In short, the FBS’s Lobby is always crowded because there are so many activities take place there, it’s usually used by the students to do their assignments  and to do another various things, but because of our own actions the lobby turn into a messy place where rubbish scattered up over here and there. It makes us feel uncomfortable and makes the Dean, the lecturers and other staffs angry. We need to pay more respect to our facility so we will not get any problem when we used it. We need to be more careful about our actions so that people will feel more comfortable when they entered the lobby.  After all, the FBS’s Lobby is ours. So it’s our duty and responsibilities to take care of it.

Share the Happiness with Hugs [FINAL FREE HUG CAMPAIGN]

There was a man holding a sign about offering free hugs for everyone. He was walking in the downtown and offering free hugs for everyone. But at the beginning, some people tried to keep a distance with him because people might think that he was insane or else. But the situation was changed when an elder woman came to him and asked to get a hug from him and the man was hugging old woman gladly. Many people paid an attention to the man when he was hugging the old woman, and after that some people wanted to get a free hugs from the man too. Everybody whether male, female, old and young wanted to get a free hug from the man and that was so sweet. When the man was carrying out his activities, The campaign "Free Hugs" was banned by the police. The man tried to explain what was the purpose of the campaign. After that, the police allowed him to continue his campaign and the other people started to do the same. They give a free hugs to everyone and during the campaign, the man give a signature list to the people who wanted to get a free hug and supported this campaign. Finally, the target of signature was reached. Ten thousand signatures was reached by the man and then to celebrate the success of his action, many people give free hugs and then hug each other. That was so sweet because the man wants to tell us that it's important to share and the happiness to the other people and also respect to each other. At last, this campaign was so great and of course it was so sweet.

·         The man who wears that round spectacle walked alone and brought a sign with him

·         “Free Hugs” was the words which was written in that white board.

            (I think it should be “Words which were” not “words which was”)

·         At the beginning, everybody thought that he was crazy or under a medical treatment.

-          Minor supporting sentences:

·         There’s no one noticed him.

·         But, the condition was changed when an old lady started to hug him.

·         The man who brought the sign suddenly gave his hug to her.

·         After that, he was started to give his hug to anybody else.

·         This is a very touching moment when everybody started to share their love by hugging somebody else.

·         But, this action seemed a bit out of the law by the police.

·         So, they banned this action.

·         The thing wasn’t like that.

·         Because of that, the police couldn’t say anything.

3. Concluding sentence:

            I can learn many things from this video. We may not underestimate somebody who we don’t know yet. Whether he or she has long/short hair, bad clothing, we have to respect each other. The main point is to share our love to other people. By hugging someone else we have shared our love and spread a positive feelings to others.

(At the last sentence, “a positive feelings” I think it should be like this “positive feelings” or “a positive feeling”.)

Gaming Room for a Gamer

I love play games. Game is one of my favorite things because by playing game, I can entertain myself. If I have a free time, I usually spent it for playing my favorite game. Online game or offline game, I love both of them and I always spend my time in my room when I play a game. So, with that reason, I want to have a gaming room for myself. I want to have a room that can make me feel comfort when I play a game and also with a lot of game's stuffs and a good computer to play my games. Here is the picture of a gamer room that i want to have.

There are a lot of things that I want to have in my gaming room and I want to placed them with a good organized so that it can be the most comfortable place for me. First, I will place two computer desk on the corner of the room. The second desk is on the right of the room and the main desk is on the left of the second desk, so it looks like the letter L and it will make the room looks tidy. On the main desk, I will put three wide computer screens, one of the best gaming set of keyboard and mouse, and some game's stuff such as figure actions. For the second desk, I will put only two medium computer screen, gaming keyboard and 2 speakers. Audio system is an important thing, so I'll put some four speakers in each corners of the room. In front of the main desk there will be a very comfortable chair, so I can feel comfort when I play my game. For the computers, I'll put the best gaming computer under and on the left side of the main desk and for the second computer is under and on the right side of the second desk. I'll also put the subwoofer under the second desk, beside the computer. To make this room more looks like a gamer room, I'll put  some posters on the wall of my room. I usually take a long of time to play a game, so I'll put a refrigerator at the opposite of the door. So if I want to eat something, I don't need to go out. With those good things in that room, that will be the most comfortable place in my house and I really want to have a room like that.

Unforgotten Moment

I’ll never forget the day when I successfully passed the test to get into college. In that day, that was an ordinary day as always, but it was also the day that the announcement regarding the passing test was announced. I was not too exited in that day because I was so pessimist that I could pass the test and get to study in my favorite university. So because of that I ignored the announcement that posted in internet. I only watched a TV from the morning to spend my free time, and then browsed some information in the internet. When I browsed in the internet, I was a quite wonder about the announcement of the test. So, I decided to look the announcement just to satisfy my curiosity. Because I didn't know the site yet, I tried to search it in Google. It wasn't taking a long time to get the site, and then I entered to the site. After that, I was very nervous and wondered that I succeed or not. To ease me in finding my name, I asked my brother to help me because there were so many names in the list. We were kept searching and finally I found my name written in the list. I was very happy and couldn't believe what my eyes have seen. After that, I told my parents about that good news and they looked so happy too. That day was a historic day for me and unforgotten moment for me.

My Classmate

My classmate is I Gede Wisnu Bayu Temaja. He comes from Tabanan. He arrived in the Buleleng last year to study in Undiksha University at English Education Department. He lives in his boarding house at Jln. Abimanyu No.18, Singaraja. He was born in Tabanan on February 13^th 1994 and now he is 19 years old. He is single person and his religion is Hinduism. He studies at English Education Department because he wants to become an English teacher in the future and he also wants to become entrepreneurs. He has a lot of hobbies, such as read some books, and playing game. Besides that, he also likes to do sport such as Futsal and Badminton. On weekends, his activities is goes to his hometown, spend his time with his family and his friend, and goes to the beach sometime. He has a big hope for his future such as want to master English and be a successful entrepreneur. He is very obedient student in my class, he’s easy-going person and I am glad to be his classmate.

How to clean up your messy room after a party

Have you throw any party at your home? And have you got a problem with a messy room because of the party? I think everyone has the same problem if they throw a party in their house, so now I will tell you how to clean up your messy room after a party with some steps.
First, the thing that you have to do is prepare the cleaning tool such as brooms, mops and garbage cans.
Second, After that, clean the small rubbish such as small plastic, pieces of paper and other. make sure that no rubbish left.
Third, after all rubbish cleaned, next what you have to do is clean up all thing that you use during a party such as cups, plates, and other.
Fourth, if the house or the room have been cleaned from any rubbish, broom all part of the house or the room and continue to mop it up until it clean.
And the last, If the house or the room have been cleaned, don't forget to use an air freshener to make the room to be fresh.
Finally your messy room is clean now with only a few steps. I hope that all can help you, Thank you.
